John Bruce
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but raised in Cut-N-Shoot, Texas, John Bruce has learned
the art of personal interaction. In fact, that aspect of his job as a commercial closer is w
hat he enjoys the most. John has been in the business for almost 30 years. He started his career
in title insurance working in the file room and eventually grew through the ranks of a top national
underwriter into a position as a multi-property, multi-state specialist in their national accounts
division. It was in 1987 that John found his niche as a commercial closer. In 1993 John relocated
to Austin, where he continued his history of outstanding service to both his clients and community.
Most recently, John's local involvement has included serving for six years as President of his
neighborhood Homeowners Association and serving a two-year term as a commissioner of the Cedar
Park Planning and Zoning Commission. He is also an active member in the Real Estate Council of
Austin and volunteers his time serving as Chairman of the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo's BBQ
Cookoff Auction and Dance, a charitable fundraiser benefiting the youth of central Texas.
Whether fulfilling the needs of his community or guaranteeing the
satisfaction of his clients, John Bruce approaches every task with
a strong desire for accuracy and a determination toward continued
excellence. John is a past recipient of Texas Land Title Association's
"Young Title Person of the Year" and a 2010 "Professional Excellence
Award" Winner. John is one of the very few title insurance professionals
in Texas to receive TLTA's accreditation of Certified Title Insurance
Associate. John is a proud father of 4 and in his spare time enjoys
bike rides and hiking.
